Surfer Girl, Pepper

Aloha. Life is excellent in Hawaii Kai. Today, I went to Makapu'u beach and yesterday Sandy's beach. I basically live ten minutes from two world-class beaches, one of which is #1 in the world for spinal injuries due to the break of the wave and the slope of the beach and the second one dangerous as well because of rocks and currents...I don't go in much. Today was a big family Easter get together...Happy Easter. Yesterday, me and some guys made beer! It's an IPA...in about a month we'll have 52 beers! So cool. We were drinking beer while making beer!...not to mention smoking meat and sharpening and juggling knives. Currently I'm a barista at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and I'm a salad chef at Salad Creations...really fun jobs. In the near future I will stay in Honolulu or be in New Orleans, Detroit or Boston for teaching and school...a tough choice to make as I've gotten quite comfortable back home. I see myself in all of these places, but I'm leaning towards New Orleans. Aloha from the aina in the Pacific. Zikomo. Tiwonana. John

Matt in Washington DC

Hi Everyone, I have settled in Washington DC and wanted to let everyone know if you are headed through this way, stop in. Also if anyone has Shauna's contact info forward it along to me(as I think she is here). I work at the Christian Science Reading Room, a few blocks from the White House.

Here is a random link someone sent me, which seems pretty cool
