Small world

Merilee, Tom and I all went out to dinner and who do we see? Hector from Malawi. He was sationed there for a time and was fun to hang out with. Some of you may remember him. He went to Afghanastan for a while and now works right around the corner from Tom. Small world!

Studying in St. Louis

Hi everybody,

I hope everyone else writes updates too, I like hearing about what everyone is up to.

Sadly, there isn't too much for me to write about. I'm in the thick of law school; I'm almost half way through the semester. I spend all of my time reading cases and writing briefs, but it's worth it. I have been learning new things every day and I get to have stimulating debates and conversations with interesting people all day long. It's stressful at times but I really enjoy it a lot. I hope all of you have found things that entertain you this much, if not more.

As for books and tv, the only books I read are case books, and I don't have tons of time for tv. But I have become rather addicted to Project Runway. I know it looks silly, but it's very entertaining. And I'm looking forward to next week when the new season of Lost begins.

So, for the most part, life has been treating me very well over the past few months. It's nice to be busy and live comfortably.

Til next time, mukhale bwino.
Love - Jess

A call for updates!

Hello,

This is Stephanie and I am calling for everyone to post a short update. I miss you all, and am wondering how you are doing. Read any good books? Seen any fun tv shows?

As for Joaquin and me, we are well. Joaquin continues to teach and go to school. He stays very busy and is enjoying his students.

I am doing well. Work is getting extra-busy as we prepare for our fall event. I'm very excited for our fall event.

I haven't read any good books lately, although I am trying to drag myself through Twenty Decisive Battles of the World. I enjoy the Colbert Report and watch it nightly.

Please post updates! Even if nothing has changed, tell us anyway!

Love,

Stephanie
